PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Las Palmas and AMCAL Multi-Housing, Inc., completed a 66 unit affordable housing project in South Los Angeles, California, in November 2006. The complex is affordable to families earning between 30% – 60% of the area median income.
Once a home to a blighted old smokehouse and alley, now stands a sparkling new community. Las Brisas is designed around a courtyard and includes a clubhouse with a computer lab and community room. Located close to parks and schools, Las Brisas also includes a tot lot playground, open green space and a subterranean parking garage.
